Most families here get quoted twice. The first quote arrives over the phone in two minutes, sounds cheap, and changes on loading day when weight, toll or packing material suddenly becomes an issue. The second comes after someone has actually looked at the flat. We only give the second kind, because a price issued without a survey is a price designed to change.

What moves the number up or down
Floor and lift access
A booked service lift keeps the labour count low. A third floor without a lift needs two to three extra hands — roughly ₹1,500 to ₹2,500 on the same move.
Packing grade
Fresh 5-ply cartons, bubble wrap, foam and stretch film cost more than reused boxes. For kitchen, glassware and electronics they're worth it.
Appliance work
Split AC uninstall and reinstall runs ₹500 to ₹800 per unit. Geyser and RO removal adds a little more. Listed separately on the quote, never added later.
Date and season
March to June is peak in Gurgaon — lease cycles, school sessions and job switches land together. A mid-week, mid-month slot is almost always cheaper than the 30th or the 1st.

Gurgaon society clearances to sort out before moving day
Trucks don't drive straight into a Gurugram high-rise. Five things need clearing before your date. The paperwork is the resident's responsibility, but we send this checklist with every booking — and if you tell us your tower name at survey, we usually already know its rules.
- Gate pass or move-out NOCIssued by the facility office. Tenants usually also need a dues-clearance note from the landlord, which takes a day or two if anything is pending.
- Service lift bookingReserved in advance, often against a refundable deposit the society returns after inspection. Weekend slots go first in larger towers — which is why we sometimes suggest a weekday even when the family assumed Saturday.
- Move-in / move-out chargeMost Gurgaon condominiums charge somewhere between ₹1,000 and ₹5,000. This is the society's charge, not the mover's, and it will never appear on our quotation.
- Permitted time windowUsually 9 AM to 6 PM. Some societies don't permit shifting on Sundays at all — which catches out families who assumed the weekend was the easy option.
- Crew ID verificationSecurity will ask for crew ID proofs at the gate. We send the crew ID list to you before every move so nothing stalls there.
- Monsoon and route timingBetween July and September we start moves crossing NH-48 and Hero Honda Chowk early. On those routes, the start time is what decides whether the move finishes in one day.

What do packers and movers charge for a 2 BHK within Gurgaon?
₹11,000 to ₹14,000 is the honest range for a full-service local shift covering packing, loading, transport and unloading. No lift at either end, extra packing material or split AC work pushes it toward the upper side. Anyone quoting ₹6,000 for a full 2 BHK is either excluding material or planning to revise the number on loading day.
How far in advance should I book a mover in Gurgaon?
Seven to ten days works for most of the year. For March to June, and around month-ends and the 1st, plan 15 days ahead. Crews and vehicles genuinely run out in those windows because half the city moves at the same time. Add two to four working days on top for your society's NOC and lift booking.
Who arranges the society gate pass and service lift?
You do, as the resident. The gate pass or move-out NOC comes from your RWA or facility office, and the lift slot is booked there too, often against a refundable deposit. We send crew ID proofs in advance and work within your society's permitted hours. Tell us the tower name at survey and we'll usually already know its rules.
Do movers work on Sundays in Gurgaon?
We do, but many Gurugram societies don't permit Sunday shifting at all. Confirm your RWA's rules before locking the date, not after. This is the single most common reason a booked move gets pushed by a week.

Do you handle car and bike transport along with the household goods?
Yes, on the same booking. Cars travel in enclosed carriers with condition photos at pickup and delivery, never driven to the destination. What documents should I check before paying any advance?
